Fall Wedding at Maple & Rose in Merrickville

In Autumn of last year, Kendra and Reilly tied the knot at Maple & Rose in Merrickville. This was my second wedding at Maple & Rose, and a combination of freshly fallen leaves on the ground and plenty of 35mm film to shoot made for a romantic, cozy and colourful celebration perfect for K&R.

If you’re looking for a venue outside of Ottawa that has luxury overnight accomodations that still feels charming and cozy, Maple & Rose is a stunning hidden gem in the heart of Merrickville. This venue easily became one of my favourites of 2025.

Some of my favourite memories of the day were parts carefully chosen by Kendra & Reilly with a personal touch, such as the ring-warming ceremony and their private first dance on the water, steps away from their venue. They also opted to take about ten minutes immediately after their ceremony to soak up that just married feeling privately before joining their guests for a champagne toast to kick off cocktail hour.
